The verdict in former Fifa president Sep Blatter’s appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is due on Monday.
After being head of football’s governing body for 17 years, Blatter resigned after a series of corruption allegations.
Blatter was banned from all football-related activity for eight years last December by Fifa’s ethics committee alongside former head of Uefa, Michel Platini. This was reduced to six years by a Fifa ethics appeal in February.Platini’s ban was reduced by a further two years by the CAS in May.
Blatter maintains that a €2million payment made to Platini in 2011 was not a bribe and was instead salary for advisory work Platini had done a decade earlier.
The verdict is expected at 2pm on Monday.
